How do I know my reservation is confirmed?

 

After the 4 steps of the booking process you need to click on "make the reservation". You will then see a confirmation page with your book number and PIN code, your booking is now confirmed.
For future reference, please write or print your book number and PIN code. You will receive an email confirmation on the email address provided during the reservation process. You can also view your confirmation via
My Booking.

 

What should I do if don't receive email confirmation of my booking?

Please carefully check your inbox and spam/junk folders belonging to the email address you provided when making the booking. You can also use booking number and PIN code that was shown on the confirmation page when you completed your booking to log on to My Booking to see all the information that is also in the confirmation email. Does Yourlocalbooking.com send me an invoice when a hotel is booked?

Yourlocalbooking.com cannot issue invoices, however your booking confirmation does act as a payment proof.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please be sure to check the booking conditions prior to making your booking. Each room type and/or Promotion will have this policy displayed on the Hotel page. For your convenience, this policy is also linked on the booking form as well as your Confirmation Email.

The hotel you have booked may charge a fee depending on when you cancel. If you cancel before the deadline set by the hotel, generally you will not be charged a fee. Canceling after the deadline will result in a cancellation fee.

Please note, these fees are established by the hotel, not Yourlocalbooking.com. A no-show will be treated as a cancellation and you will be billed accordingly.

Where can I find the cancellation policy of the hotel?

Room-specific cancellation information is included next to the room type under the ‘Conditions’ column. Please note that with special deals, the cancellation or deposit policy differs from the normal policy, so it’s wise to check both. The specific information, relevant to your booking, will also be included in your confirmation and on My Booking.

What happens to my hotel if my flight is delayed?

 

If your flight is delayed please contact us immediately with your hotel reservation details and we will contact the hotel on your behalf to explain your situation and amend your booking details if required, we cannot guarantee the hotel will not charge you if inside the hotels cancellation period, however our team will do all they can to help assist you.

 

I have booked a hotel but I did not receive a confirmation by email. What do I have to do?

When will my booking be confirmed?

For many of the hotels we have been allotted rooms enabling instant confirmation. This list of hotels is growing.

For hotels we do not yet have allotments for and cannot instantly confirm your booking, we will contact the hotel and normally confirm your booking within 24 hours. Your booking is final once we received your payment online and we emailed you the hotel check-in voucher.

Why hotel does not know my reservation? What do I do now?

Some of the Hotels with which we book accommodation for our clients, have allotted a number of rooms to our company each day. We then allocate your Name list to these available rooms. We keep all your details on file, until we submit the full Name lists and details of each booking, a set number of days before the check in date. So please do not be alarmed if the Hotel does not have your booking details, as they are on file, and will be submitted closer to your check in date.
